Vulture Festival is a large-scale, multi-day cultural event in New York City designed to bring Vulture’s editorial voice to life through live performances, screenings, conversations, and comedy. With 36 events across 9 venues in just two days, the challenge was to create a visual system that could unify a wide range of programming while still allowing each experience to feel distinct.
The creative needed to reflect the breadth, energy, and cultural relevance of the festival, scale across digital, print, and environmental applications, and drive both ticket sales and audience engagement in a highly competitive events landscape.

I spearheaded the art direction for Vulture Festival 2016, leading the creative vision from concept through execution. I developed a multi-colored, topographic-inspired visual system that reflected the festival’s many voices and formats, reinforcing the idea that audiences could experience the event from countless angles.
I oversaw design and production across all festival touchpoints, collaborating with outside vendors and managing junior and freelance designers to ensure consistency and quality at scale. Throughout the process, I partnered closely with editorial, marketing, and event teams to translate Vulture’s brand and content into a cohesive, high-impact live experience.
